CIASA Computer Recycling Policy

This policy is designed to provide information and guidance for members of the public and CIASA members who are involved in our Computer Recycling Policy.

CIASA Computer Recycling Policy

1. As a CIASA member, we will promote safe recycling.
   
   
2. We will assist clients with guidance and referral to participating members.
   
   
3. As a participating member, we will recycle and dispose of unwanted Computer Equipment in an environmentally safe way.
   
   
4. We will endeavour to deal only with approved Recyclers who dispose of hazardous waste in the best possible way.
   
   
5. We will endeavour to limit used PC equipment ending up as land fill.

CIASA PC Recycling Procedure

1. As a participating member we have the right to accept or reject used PC equipment from clients.
   
   
2. Clients are encouraged to telephone a CIASA PC Recycling participating member to arrange a time for delivery.
   
   
3. In some instances a small fee may be charged to clients when accepting used PC Equipment for recycling.
